How long does an MOT take?
Most Class 4 MOT tests at Strand Motor Company take 45 to 60 minutes. That is a full DVSA inspection, not a glance around the car. You are welcome to wait. If you need to get to work, drop the car at 156 Handcroft Road and we will call when the report is ready.
What can make it longer
A fail discussion adds a few minutes because we go through every item. Combining the MOT with a service takes longer. An interim service is often a couple of hours. A full service is usually most of the day. Tell us when you book if you need the car back by a set time.
