How do I check my MOT status and history?
You do not need to ring us to find out when it is due. The government site is free and uses the registration number. We still send a reminder if you ask us to, once you are on the books.
What you will see
Current expiry, pass or fail on each old test, mileage recorded, and advisories. If the mileage jumps backwards, that is a warning when you buy a used car.
Using it before a test
Look at last year’s advisories. If the same tyre was “close to limit” then, it may fail now. Bring the car to 156 Handcroft Road and we will test it properly.
