What is a major service?
A major service is for the longer gaps in the handbook. Skip it and you skip brake fluid, fuel filters and plugs that are only due every two years. Older and higher-mileage cars benefit most.
On top of a full service

- Coolant check and top up
- Extended inspection of wear items
When it is due
Often 24 months or 24,000 miles. Some makers use different schedules. Bring the book or we will look up the vehicle. Full vs interim.
